The story
Hane is a painting app for Android with a physical brush engine written in Rust. Its developer, Jarrod Cary, is a programmer, not a painter, and decided his own studies should not be what people judge the engine by. So the app's Google Play screenshots are being crowdsourced: anyone who paints something in Hane and posts it with #HaneBySloom gets the paid tier free while codes last, a credited link on the official site, and picked entries become the store page with the artist's name on it. The three top founding entrants get a brush preset named after them. Rules: sloom.studio/hane/first-hundred. Gallery: sloom.studio/hane/artists.

Quotes you may use
"I can write a brush that runs dry. I can't paint a picture that makes you want to use it. So the people who can are painting the store page, and they get the credit." — Jarrod Cary, developer
"Starter is not a demo. It is the same engine at the same quality. Full buys you capacity and workflow, never better marks." — Jarrod Cary
